The beds in the mixed dorms were comfortable and the breakfast offered a wide variety of options. The hostel's location was also very convenient, being close to both the train station and the city center.
One night I had a guy in the bunk bed in front of me who kept his personal light on until 2:00AM, which made it difficult for me to sleep. Although this was not the hostel's fault, it would have been nice to have some curtains to block out the light and provide a bit more privacy.

Comfy beds and spacious rooms were a plus, providing a comfortable stay. The location was key, with easy access to the city center and train station, making it convenient for exploring and traveling. The breakfast selection was abundant, offering a variety of sweet and savory options to satisfy different tastes.
The bathroom situation was not ideal, with only one bathroom provided for eight people. This led to long waits and inconvenience.

The hostel's location is incredibly convenient, just a short 5-minute walk from the train station. This makes it perfect for travelers who plan to do a lot of train travel. Additionally, the hostel is within a 10-minute walk to the main Piazza, putting guests right in the center of the action.
There were a few bed assignment mix-ups during our stay.

I recently had an amazing stay at a seriously amazing place in Genoa. Home Genoa Hostel is SUPER big with spacious common areas like the living room, balcony, and kitchen. the rooms are also impressive, featuring large windows that offer a beautiful view of Genoa's streets. Not to mention, the wifi is great, and they provide excellent linens and towels. the breakfast they offer is super nice as well. I loved meeting people from all around the world and making lots of friends during my stay. Plus, the location is convenient for exploring Cinque Terre in one day by train. I would definitely love to visit this hostel again!
The only minor drawback I found was that the hostel's location was not obvious to find at first.

The room was comfy and the location was spot on - close to the train station and the old city. The staff treated me like a rockstar, they were so friendly and helpful. It really.
The breakfast offerings could use a little improvement though, it was mostly sweet food. It would have been nice to have some Italian bread and cheese to balance it out.

For dads, it would be great to have a playground or outdoor space for children to play.
